Ridge Football Award Winners
Tackle Football
Most Valuable Player
The MVP award will be bestowed upon the player that had the biggest impact on our team this past season. Typically the player will contribute in multiple facets of the game, exhibited exceptional qualities as a teammate and player and left a positive impression on coaches, teammates and opponents.
Offensive MVP
This award will be given to the player that had the greatest impact for our offense. Typically this player will have played multiple positions, been a proven leader, improved the play of teammates and had an impact on our teams offensive scheme and success.
Lineman Of The Year
This award recognizes outstanding play by a player who plays a line position.
Mike Luyks Award - Dedication
The Mike Luyks Award will be given to a SR football player who has demonstrated positive qualities inside the school and on the field, has been dedicated to the football program over a number of years and has helped build the culture and the sport here at Iroquois Ridge.
Kell Haswell Memorial Award
This award will be given to a Junior player that has displayed tremendous sportsmanship qualities throughout the season. Their attitude, effort and respect for their team and the game will be of the highest level
Defensive MVP
This award will be given to the player that had the greatest impact for our defense. Typically this player will have played multiple positions, been a proven leader, improved the play of teammates and had an impact on our teams defensive scheme and success.
Rookie Of The Year
This award will be presented to a first year football player that has demonstrated significant impact to his team.
Coaches Award
This award recognizes a player that demonstrates all of the qualities that our program desires, both on the field and off. This player will have outstanding attendance, a desire to improve, is a fantastic teammate, puts the team first, has a positive attitude, and exhibits those same positive qualities to his teachers in the classroom.
Most Improved Player
This award will be given to a player that has shown great improvements on the football field from the previous season.
Lynda Hadubiak Scholarship
Presented to a graduating football player whose essay meets the annual requirements and is selected by the Kurc family to best represent her legacy.
Touch Football

This award will be given to the player that had the greatest impact for our offense, during the touch season.
Defensive MVP
This award will be given to the player that had the greatest impact for our defense, during the touch season.
