Kevin Forsyth
​
Program Coordinator,
SR Head Coach
Mr Forsyth has been with The Ridge since 2016. He teaches in the Business department and serves as the Football program Coordinator, SR Team Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He has over 20 years of coaching experience at the High School Senior and Junior levels, as well as with the Burlington Stampeders Rep Program and the BMFA House League and Flag levels of football. Prior to taking over the Wolfpack Program he worked with the MMR and Lester B Pearson football teams.

While he runs the offense, his knowledge and expertise is on Running backs and Quarterback play. Even during his time off, he is heavily involved in football and can be found officiating flag or touch football or playing men's league touch year round in both the Soccer World Indoor league and the GHTFA outdoor league.
​
His knowledge, passion and commitment to growing the program has paid dividends as Iroquois is now considered the top program in Oakville and a top 30 program in Ontario.
Dan LeGresley​
Asst. Program Coordinator,
Defensive Coordinator
Mr. LeGresley has been with the Ridge since 2018. He is a French teacher and helps Coach Forsyth with the overall direction of our program. He is the SR team Defensive Coordinator and also works with all of our defensive linemen. His knowledge and experience has helped our lines work as one cohesive unit and has seen a number of those position players move on to the OUA under his tutelage. He was a member of the University of Guelph Gryphons Football Program from 2005-2009 as an offensive lineman. Coach LeGresley has been coaching since 2005 at both the junior and senior level in both high school and rep football. He has enjoyed each stop and loves to work with young linemen to help improve their games.
Since his arrival, our football program has continued to improve each and every season. He is a big believer in coaching football, but also life skills as we have seen improvements on the field, in the classroom, and in the community for the majority of our young males. His passion for coaching comes through each and every day.
Stephen McPhaden
Jr Defensive Co-ordinator
Coach McPhaden has been part of the Ridge Football Family since 2023. He has coached football at both Dr Frank Hayden and MMR in before joinging up with our program.

His experience as a coach and as a football player is evident every day on the field. He is the defensive coordinator for our Jr team, and also works with all of our LBs in the program. He has a keen sense for the defensive side of the ball and continues to enhance the skills and expertise of all of our defensive players.
​
He has proven to be a successful coach at a variety of sports, his passion for athletics and his coaching style fits well with the culture we are building at The Ridge.
Jacob Baird
JR Head Coach &
Off. Coordinator
Coach Baird joined The Ridge Family in the fall of 2022 in both a teaching and coaching capacity. He is a member of our HAL department, and has taken on a big role in athletics here at the Ridge.

He is the offensive coordinator for our Jr Team and also helps coach our WR's at both age groups. Every year that he has been with our program he continues to take on a larger and larger role. His knowledge and passion for high level athletics has revitalized our Jr Program and is steering us to a championship caliber team each and every season.
His enthusiasm and ability to connect with young athletes is evident each and every day on the field. We are excited to see how far we can go under his tutelage.
Julie Smintich

Team Manager
Ms. Smintich joined the football program in 2018. She has been teaching Family Studies here at The Ridge since 2013. She handles a lot of the administrative work that goes on behind the scenes for the football program. She is also heavily involved in all of our team fundraisers, our annual golf tournament and our annual football awards dinner. She also serves as the team liaison between the coaches and our Wolfpack AlumniCommittee.

You will frequently find Ms. Smintich on the sidelines of all of our home games wearing Wolfpack Swag and cheering loudly. She is a huge supporter of our program and we are happy for all of the support that she provides our program.
Kris Reeve

Assistant Coach
Mr. Reeve has been with The Ridge since 2010 as the Head of our Special Education Department as well as a football coach. He spent many years as the head coach of the SR team, but has recently stepped back a bit to focus more time on his family. Coach Reeve played his university ball at Windsor University. In addition to his playing career, he has 20+ years of coaching experience at the high school level. He has 4 championships to his name, spending time at Aldershot, MMR, Central and The Ridge. We are pleased to have him work as our Defensive linemen, while also using his playing and coaching knowledge and experience to help in other areas of our program.
Coach Reeve is a passionate and active supporter of all of The Ridge's athletics and also has been a coach for Touch Football, Baseball and Basketball over the years. He has been a mentor and a leader to many athletes over the years.
Keith McCutcheon
Offensive Line Coach
Coach McCutcheon joined the Wolfpack coaching staff in 2022. Iroquois Ridge is in his neighbourhood, and he has been supporting financial literacy at the school in our Finance classes since 2019. ​

Keith played Offensive Line at the University of McMaster in the late 90's and early 00's. His passion for the sport has never waivered and when his work schedule has allowed it, he has spent time coaching football for over 15+ years. He has spent time with Corpus Christi CSS as well as the Burlington Stampeders organization before joining up with the Wolfpack.
​
His experience, knowledge and passion has already made a positive impact on our linemen, both on and off the field. In 2022 we had the best rushing team in Halton and we look forward to continuing off of that success and producing one of the best rushing teams in the province, behind a technical and tough offensive line.

Craig Labbett
​
Wide Receivers Coach
Coach Labbett joined the Wolfpack coaching staff in 2019 as a part time WR coach. He has a long and decorated resume in the sport. He played his University football at Western, where he was part of 3 Vanier Cup teams and was named Ontario All Star TE 3 times and was twice named as a Canadian All Star TE. He was then drafted by the Alouettes in the first round of the 1978 draft. He spent time on the Alouettes, Argo's and TiCats teams before retiring in 1980.

He has stayed involved with the sport by coaching at Clarkson, Oakville Trafalgar and now Iroqouis Ridge High Schools in Halton, as well as with the Oakville Titans. We are pleased to have his experience, knowledge and wisdom on our staff, and hope to have him in a more full time capacity going forward.
Bronson Gabbidon
Line Coach
Coach Gabbidon graduated in 2021 after spending 4 years with our program. In 2024 he was able to coordinate schedules and work with our young players in a coaching capacity.

His cool and calm demeanour on the field has provided immediate success working closely with our Jr linemen. He has a great understanding of the game of football and our systems that this was a natural transition for him.
​
We are excited for his potential to grow with our program over the next few years and help elevate the line of scrimmage for our Jr team.
Shahbaz Dhillon
Line Coach / Special Teams
Coach Shahbaz is an IRHS Graduate from 2010. He joined our Wolfpack Program in 2025.
Dhillon is the Director of Scouting at the Gridiron Crew where he works to find and evaluate athletes as well as help them on their pro journey, as well as a Regional Area Scout for the Dream Bowl. He graduated from Humber College’s Sport Management program and prior to this he was apart of the 2010 recruitment class to the University of Waterloo (OL/DL) and also attended Wilfrid Laurier University. Shahbaz has spent a number of years in the sports industry, including as the Manager of Football Operations for the Edmonton Elks of the CFL where he also oversaw the salary cap, player contracts and was apart of the scouting team, amongst other roles.
He looks to bring his experience and knowledge gained in Pro Football to teach and guide players from the basics to the next level.
Taylor Kurc
Alumni Ambassador & Special Assistant Coach
Coach Kurc graduated from IRHS as a SR Champion in 2014. He then went on to play DB/LB at Graceland University in the NAIA from 2016 - 2019. In 2020 he joined our Parent Committee as our Alumni Ambassador and has been a huge part of our fundraising success and getting our alumni involved with current events.
​
He spent a few years as a defensive coach for our SR team, before moving away from Oakville and helping on a part time basis. While his coaching role is now limited, he is still fully immersed in the Program as our Alumni Ambassador. He helps organize and run; our golf tournament, team outings, connect with all Alumni and work directly with our coaches, parents, alumni and players. He has been a big part of the continued positive direction the program has taken over the past few seasons.
